Ronaldo explained that his choice to play in the Saudi league stemmed from his belief in the kingdom's potential and ambitions, indicating his desire to support various sectors and major projects within the country. He noted that his transfer to Riyadh has proven to be a sound decision, expressing his affection for the city of AlUla and the Red Sea project, as well as his wish to be part of the kingdom's significant development.

The player remarked that the Saudi league ranks among the top five leagues in the world, acknowledging the competitive nature of the participants. He discussed Saudi Arabia's hosting of the 2034 World Cup, expressing confidence that it will be one of the most memorable events in the tournament's history.

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia on a two-and-a-half-year contract in 2022 after leaving Manchester United and has recently extended his contract to continue playing after celebrating his 42nd birthday.
