Dutch Foreign Minister Calls for Urgent Action Amid Atrocities in El Fasher

He emphasized that the Netherlands is calling for an end to human rights violations in El Fasher and for strict adherence to the United Nations arms embargo, highlighting the urgent need for increased humanitarian aid to reach civilians trapped amid the crisis.

These remarks from the Dutch minister come as the humanitarian crisis in the Darfur region intensifies, with over 100,000 people fleeing El Fasher in the past two weeks, according to the UN Refugee Agency, amid international warnings of a worsening humanitarian disaster.
