Syria Signs Oil and Gas Exploration Agreement with Chevron and Qatari Firm

The Syrian Oil Company has formalized a memorandum of understanding today, Wednesday, with Chevron, an American multinational, and Power International Holding from Qatar for the purpose of oil and gas exploration in Syrian territorial waters.

This memorandum is designed to investigate hydrocarbon resources and evaluate investment prospects within the marine energy sector, reflecting Syria's intent to foster collaboration with international firms and enhance its technical capabilities in this area.
