In statements released post-meeting, both leaders highlighted their backing for initiatives aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, including the reinstatement of the Palestinian Authority's governance in the area. Furthermore, they expressed their commitment to supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon, Syria, and Libya.
The discussions also addressed the significance of the Nile River for Egypt, with both presidents exploring ways to enhance collaboration between Egypt and Turkey in water management and climate change, which they believe will benefit mutual interests and bolster regional stability.
