The legal advisor for singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, Yasser Qantoush, has released an official statement cautioning the public against engaging with her social media accounts without prior consultation with her or her legal team. He emphasized that legal action will be pursued against anyone who violates this directive.
Currently, investigations are underway concerning the management of Sherine's social media channels.
Qantoush noted that inquiries are focused on the individual accused of taking control of Sherine's YouTube channel and profiting from it. He also addressed circulating rumors suggesting that the channel had been sold, which he has categorically denied.
He reiterated that all of the artist's social media accounts are solely owned by her, as documented in public records and ongoing investigations. No one is authorized to manage these accounts without her explicit consent, and he urged the public to disregard any false information or unauthorized dealings.
Qantoush confirmed that any unauthorized interactions with Sherine's accounts will be closely monitored, and violators will face legal repercussions. This follows a ruling by the Economic Misdemeanor Court in January, which acquitted the artist of defamation charges against her page manager in a dispute over access to her online accounts.
