Widespread Arab and Regional Condemnation of Israeli Attack in Beit Jinn, Calls for Respect of Syrian Sovereignty

The Israeli military stated it conducted a security operation in Beit Jinn targeting individuals from the "Islamic community," claiming its forces were attacked, resulting in injuries to six soldiers, including two officers. They reported calling in aerial support via helicopters and drones to strike multiple sites within the village, with the injured being transferred to Israeli hospitals.

Israeli media reported that a military vehicle malfunctioned on Syrian soil during the operation, necessitating intense air cover for security.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the "criminal aggression" by Israeli forces in Beit Jinn, asserting that the subsequent bombardment constituted a "complete war crime" following the massacre of innocent civilians and significant population displacement due to intensive shelling on civilian homes.
