Egyptian Singer Ismail El-Lithi in Critical Condition Following Serious Car Accident

Egyptian pop singer Ismail El-Lithi is currently in intensive care at a specialized hospital in Malawi, located in Minya province, southern Egypt, following a serious car accident while returning to Cairo after performing at a wedding.
A medical source reported that El-Lithi was admitted to the hospital in a complete coma, with medical examinations revealing a skull fracture and severe bleeding beneath the brain membrane, necessitating immediate resuscitation efforts upon his arrival.
Two hours after being admitted, he was placed on a ventilator due to acute respiratory failure, with doctors describing his condition as "extremely critical."
The source indicated that the medical team has managed to reduce the volume of the brain hemorrhage with medication, but the bleeding has not yet fully stopped.
An emergency surgery was planned to halt the hemorrhage; however, his current health status does not allow for the procedure, as he is fully dependent on the ventilator, making anesthesia potentially life-threatening.
Additionally, El-Lithi has sustained multiple injuries to various parts of his body, though these are not considered as life-threatening as his head and brain injuries.
Efforts to stabilize his critical condition are ongoing through medication and intensive care.
It is worth noting that El-Lithi faced a personal tragedy last year with the death of his son, who fell from their tenth-floor apartment balcony, causing immense grief for him and his family.
His personal life has also been marked by turmoil, including a separation from his wife for several months before they reconciled and resumed their married life recently.
The artistic community and the Egyptian public are closely monitoring his health situation, with many expressing prayers for the recovery of the singer, who is regarded as one of the prominent voices in modern popular music.
