Popular Singer Ismaïl El-Laythi Dies from Injuries in Minya Accident

Ismaïl El-Laythi, a prominent singer, has died at the age of 37 from injuries sustained in a serious accident in Minya.
The artist was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, having arrived in a complete coma, according to a medical source. Medical examinations revealed a skull fracture and bleeding beneath the cerebral membrane, necessitating immediate life-support measures.
After just two hours, his condition worsened, leading to his transfer to intensive care and placement on a ventilator due to respiratory failure. The medical team attempted to stabilize him by administering medication to manage the bleeding, although it did not completely stop.
The medical source indicated that urgent surgery was required to stop the cerebral bleeding. However, his critical condition posed significant risks for anesthesia, which prevented the procedure. As a result, doctors opted for a medication-based approach in a desperate attempt to save his life.
Despite other injuries on his body, the source noted that these were not life-threatening compared to the severe head injury.
It is worth mentioning that Ismaïl El-Laythi faced personal hardships last year, having lost his son in a tragic accident when the child fell from their tenth-floor apartment balcony, causing immense grief for him and his family.
His personal life also experienced turbulence, as he had been separated from his wife for several months before reconciling and resuming their married life recently.
Reports indicate that his body will be transferred to Cairo in the coming hours for burial and the holding of funeral services and condolences in his hometown.
