The legal advisor for artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, Yasser Qantouch, has issued an official statement warning the public against engaging with Sherine's social media accounts without her or her legal representative's consent, indicating that legal action will be pursued against violators.
Investigations are ongoing concerning the management of Sherine's channels.
Qantouch specified that inquiries are continuing into the case against the individual accused of improperly managing Sherine's pages, who allegedly appropriated her YouTube channel for profit. He emphasized that certain websites have circulated rumors about the sale of the channel, which he has officially denied.
Confirmation of page ownership solely by the artist.
The lawyer stressed that all of the artist's pages are exclusively owned by her and are officially documented in records and investigations by the public prosecutor. He warned that no one has the right to manage these pages without her consent, urging the public to refrain from engaging with false news or interacting with the accounts unlawfully.
Strict legal measures.
Qantouch confirmed that any unauthorized interaction with Sherine’s accounts will be monitored, and violators will face legal repercussions. This follows a ruling by the economic crimes court in January, which acquitted the artist of defamation charges against the manager of her pages in a legal dispute concerning her account passwords.
