Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: New S Pen Design to Feature Simpler Aesthetic

Recent leaks suggest that the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra from Samsung will introduce a notable change that may disappoint fans, as the S Pen will forgo its traditional vibrant colors in favor of a more formal and minimalist design.
According to the leaked images, the S Pen will now feature a color limited to the clickable tip, which will match the phone's frame, while the body of the pen will be available in either black or white, depending on the user's choice. This means that the signature feature of previous Ultra models, where the stylus matched the phone's color, will not be present in this new iteration.
While these four colors align with earlier leaks regarding the phone's color options, this decision may be viewed as a downgrade in user experience, particularly given the anticipated high price of the Ultra model upon its release.
Some analysts speculate that this change may be driven by cost-cutting measures, although such reasoning might seem unwarranted.
This decision follows a trend of diminishing features for the S Pen; last year, Samsung removed S Pen support from the Galaxy Z Fold 7, after launching the S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra without its usual Bluetooth-supported functionalities.
Although the elimination of vibrant colors may appear to be a minor adjustment, it signifies the loss of a distinctive feature of the Ultra model that users have appreciated for years.
