Tragic Gas Leak in Egypt Claims Lives of Father and Two Sons

Authorities in Qalyoubia, Egypt, have confirmed that a gas leak caused the tragic deaths of a father and his two sons, with the mother and a surviving son hospitalized in critical condition. The incident was initially thought to be related to food poisoning, but investigations revealed it was due to domestic gas leakage.

The father, a Quran memorizer, and his two sons succumbed to asphyxiation shortly after arriving at the hospital. The mother and their surviving son are currently receiving intensive care due to the severity of their injuries.

According to local residents, the surviving son, Hamza, woke up early for an exam and discovered his family unresponsive in their apartment. He promptly called for help and sought assistance from neighbors.

Security officials stated that a thorough examination of the apartment confirmed no signs of food poisoning, affirming that a gas leak was the cause of the incident. Investigations are ongoing, and the bodies have been released for burial following autopsy procedures.
