Xabi Alonso Denies Player Conspiracy Amidst Real Madrid's Performance Issues

Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso has strongly dismissed reports suggesting a "conspiracy" among certain players against him, particularly amidst rising tensions with star player Vinícius Júnior.
These comments followed media reports indicating a rift between the players and Alonso, raising concerns within the club's management, led by Florentino Pérez, especially given the team's inconsistent performances in recent matches.
The friction between Vinícius and Alonso has escalated since the coach took over at the beginning of the current season, culminating during the latest Spanish Clasico when the Brazilian star left the pitch visibly upset after being substituted, expressing his frustration: "Every time! I might as well leave the team for good!".
In response to these developments, Alonso denied any existence of divisions or conspiracies within the squad, reaffirming his respect for the team and the external pressures players encounter. He stated, "We must respect the players and their preparations. We discuss and manage these issues, but they should not distract us from the path we have chosen."
Regarding the team's recent performance decline, Alonso acknowledged that the last three matches were not ideal but highlighted that the team had previously demonstrated excellent levels of play. He remarked, "Every change requires time. We sometimes lack continuity, whether with or without the ball, which has made some matches more challenging than they should be. However, we will continue to work with the same intensity and collective quality."
