Mohamed Salah Unable to Attend Grandfather's Funeral Due to Match Commitment

The family of Liverpool forward and Egyptian national team player Mohamed Salah has announced the passing of his grandfather, Haj Ahmed Abdel Aziz Al-Bamby, who died on Monday following a sudden health issue at his home in Nagrig, located in Gharbia Governorate.
The burial took place after the noon prayer, attended by Salah's father, Salah Ghaly, and his brother, Nasser Salah. Mohamed Salah was unable to attend the funeral as he was in the United Kingdom for a match against Sunderland in the English Premier League.
In a post on Facebook, Abdel Aziz Al-Bamby, Salah's uncle, confirmed the news, stating:
"Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return .. my father is in the care of Allah".
The Egyptian Football Association extended its condolences to Salah, stating:
"The Board of Directors, Secretary-General, technical staff of the national teams, and all employees express their heartfelt condolences to Mohamed Salah, captain of the Egypt national team and Liverpool, on the loss of his grandfather. May Allah grant him mercy and comfort his family in this difficult time."
As of now, it remains uncertain whether Mohamed Salah will be able to attend the mourning events scheduled for the coming days, although it is anticipated that his participation may be limited due to ongoing commitments with his club in the English Premier League.
This poignant moment serves as a reminder of the human side of football stars, who, despite their international fame, maintain strong ties to their families and communities.
