Cristiano Ronaldo Returns to Al-Nassr for Match Against Al-Fateh After Two-Match Absence

The Portuguese publication A Bola has reported that star player Cristiano Ronaldo will return to action with Al-Nassr in their upcoming match against Al-Fateh in the Saudi League. This follows a two-match absence during which he protested the management changes within the club.
Ronaldo missed Al-Nassr's last two matches against Al-Riyadh and Al-Ittihad in the Roshn Saudi League. His absence was in response to the withdrawal of executive powers from Jose Semedo, the CEO, and Simão Coutinho, the sporting director. Their powers were restored in late December, which had previously hindered their roles in the winter transfer market.
The widely circulated Portuguese newspaper noted on Monday:
Although Ronaldo is not expected to play against Turkmenistan's Arkadag in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League 2 on Wednesday, he will be included in the squad for the match against Al-Fateh in the Saudi League.
Semedo, a former player, assumed the executive presidency of Al-Nassr last July, with Simão Coutinho appointed as sporting director, succeeding Fernando Hierro. This change is seen as a move towards restoring stability within the club's management, which had previously been affected by internal controversies involving their star player.
