Astronomers Investigate Mysterious 'Giant Bird' Near the Sun

The strange object was detected using a solar telescope.
Experts from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory at the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that the object was observed a few days ago with the LASCO telescope, initially contemplating the possibility of it being a massive galactic entity.
Scientific Explanation of the Phenomenon
Russian astronomer Alexander Kiselev suggests that the most likely explanation is that the object is a passing comet approaching the Sun. The extreme heat causes volatile substances such as water and carbon dioxide to vaporize, creating a bright tail that can resemble bird wings in images.
Alternative Explanations for the Phenomenon
Kiselev also noted that the observed phenomenon could be a plasma formation in the solar corona, an optical illusion due to the angles of observation, or even a technical malfunction of the observation equipment, indicating that the phenomenon may be natural rather than supernatural.
