Netflix has announced a live stream of the highly anticipated comeback concert for South Korean band BTS, which is expected to be one of the largest music events in K-Pop history, broadcasted in over 190 countries worldwide.
Return to Activities After a Long Hiatus
The band had paused its artistic activities since 2022 while all seven members completed their mandatory military service in South Korea. With their service concluded last year, BTS is set to return to the music scene.
Release of New Album Titled "ARIRANG"
BTS has announced that their new album, "ARIRANG," will be released on March 20, marking their first musical project since the commercially successful album "Proof" in 2022. According to Netflix, the new album showcases the band's artistic vision and musical identity.
Free Concert in Seoul with Exclusive Netflix Broadcast
BTS will hold a free concert at Gwanghwamun Square in the heart of Seoul on March 21, which will be streamed live and exclusively on Netflix for fans around the world.
Documentary and Major World Tour
Additionally, a documentary titled "BTS: The Return" will premiere on March 27, focusing on the band's preparations for their comeback after the hiatus. The band's world tour is set to begin in April and will include 79 concerts across 34 cities, making it the largest single concert tour by a K-Pop group in terms of the number of performances, according to production company HYBE.
