US Urges Iran for Concrete Concessions in Upcoming Negotiations

The international community is closely watching the upcoming round of negotiations between the United States and Iran, as political pressure mounts and indirect communications are exchanged between the two sides.
Washington has emphasized the need for Tehran to participate in the next meeting with "serious and meaningful content," while Israel is working to broaden any potential agreement to include limitations on Iran's missile program.
Israeli Channel 15 reported that the U.S. administration has sent a clear message to Iran, urging Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his delegation to arrive at the next meeting with tangible concessions on several issues, expressing expectations about Tehran's seriousness in the negotiations.
At the same time, Israeli Channel 13 reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to pressure U.S. President Donald Trump to include a clause that restricts the range of missiles in any potential agreement, aiming to expand the negotiation framework to cover the missile program alongside the nuclear issue.
These developments come amid a resumption of diplomatic efforts between Washington and Tehran after years of tensions and escalations, as Iran continues to refuse to incorporate its missile program into the talks, viewing it as purely defensive.
Israel's stance aligns with Netanyahu's repeated warnings that addressing only the Iranian nuclear program is insufficient, stressing the need to tackle "regional threats," particularly the development of ballistic missiles.
Western reports suggest that the upcoming round of talks could serve as a critical test of the parties' ability to make progress, given the differing positions of the United States and Iran and the political pressures each country faces.
