Alonso Denies Player Conspiracy Claims, Emphasizes Real Madrid's Stability

Real Madrid's head coach, Xabi Alonso, has responded to reports suggesting a "conspiracy" among certain players against him, particularly amid rising tensions with key stars like Vinícius Júnior.
These comments followed media speculation about a rift between the players and Alonso, raising concerns for club president Florentino Pérez, especially given the team's inconsistent performances in recent matches.
The friction between Vinícius and Alonso has intensified since the coach's appointment at the start of the season, peaking during the latest El Clásico, when the Brazilian forward left the pitch angrily after being substituted, stating: "Every time! I should just leave the team for good!".
In response to these reports, Alonso firmly rejected any notion of divisions or conspiracies within the squad, emphasizing his respect for the team and the external pressures players face. He noted, "We must respect the players and their preparation. We discuss these matters and manage them, but they should not divert us from the path we have chosen."
Regarding the team's recent performance decline, Alonso acknowledged that the last three games were not ideal but highlighted that the team had previously shown excellent form. He added, "Every change takes time. Sometimes we lack continuity, both with and without the ball, which has made some matches more challenging than they should be. However, we will continue to work at the same pace and with the same collective quality."
