Egyptian artist Mohamed Fouad is set to return to the big screen after a 21-year hiatus with his new film "Mein Herz in New York," which he describes as internationally inspired and leveraging multiple locations to enrich its dramatic storyline.

Production Details and Locations

Fouad revealed that approximately 80% of the film was shot in the United States and Latin America. He emphasized that the film showcases a variety of characters and intricate details, distinguishing it from his earlier works by incorporating settings beyond Egypt to support the narrative elements.

Last Cinematic Appearance

Fouad's last appearance in a film was in "Ghaiy Hab" in 2005, directed by Ahmed El Badry, alongside actors Hala Shiha, Khaled El Sawy, Ramez Galal, and Amira Al Aidi. The plot centers on a young man who leaves police school to pursue a singing career and later reunites with his childhood love, now married to a dubious businessman.

This film marks Fouad's return to cinema after a lengthy period focused on music and artistic tours, promising a cinematic experience that blends Egyptian and international elements.
