Syrian President Stresses Unity of State Institutions and Importance of Coastal Region

Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara stated on Thursday that key state institutions, such as defense, security, foreign affairs, and the economy, are inseparable, asserting that their cohesion is essential for the nation's stability.

He emphasized that Syria's geography is interconnected, noting that the coastal region cannot operate independently from other areas. This geographical and social link is crucial for maintaining state unity.

Additionally, the president identified the Syrian coast as a strategic priority, citing its advantageous position along global trade routes, which makes it pivotal for economic growth and regional integration.
