Sherine Abdel Wahab's Health Crisis: Brother Reveals Support from Zina and Ahmed Saad

Mohamed Abdel Wahab, brother of singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, has disclosed details regarding his sister's ongoing health crisis, stating that 90% of the information circulating about artistic interventions to assist her is inaccurate.
In a post on Facebook, he clarified that the only individuals who truly aided Sherine were Zina and singer Ahmed Saad, while popular artist Mahmoud El Leithi visited her regularly.
He noted that their involvement was not for publicity but stemmed from a long-standing friendship with Sherine prior to her rise to fame. They attempted to keep their support private but were ultimately drawn into a media controversy fueled by a financed campaign.
Abdel Wahab attributed the family's distancing from Sherine to the turmoil in her life, indicating that previous efforts to support her four years ago were derailed by rumors suggesting the family was financially exploiting her. This led to interruptions in her treatment plan.
He also provided insights into her hospital transfer, stating:
When Sherine experienced health issues, Zina was on her way to visit and promptly took her to a nearby hospital where doctors performed an endoscopy. Due to anesthesia, Sherine was unable to drive home and was transported by ambulance instead.
Abdel Wahab concluded by affirming that the assistance from Zina and Ahmed Saad was rooted in their longstanding friendship with Sherine. Despite their efforts to maintain confidentiality, they became targets of a funded media campaign that sparked controversy.
