Sherif Salama and Dalia Mostafa Announce Separation After 21 Years of Marriage

After over two decades of marriage, Egyptian artist Sherif Salama has officially confirmed his separation from his wife, fellow artist Dalia Mostafa. The couple has two children together.
A source close to Salama disclosed that the divorce followed more than a year of ongoing conflicts between the couple, despite various attempts by family and friends to mend their relationship.
The divorce proceedings took place at their shared residence, attended by Sherif Salama, a notary, and Dalia Mostafa's father, with both parties agreeing on all aspects concerning their lives, particularly regarding their children's educational needs.
According to the source, Dalia Mostafa was visibly upset, breaking down in tears at the conclusion of the divorce process. Her father and brother attempted to comfort her, while she ensured that her children were not present during the proceedings, asking them to stay with a relative until everything was resolved, given that the divorce occurred in their home.
Salama and Mostafa first met while she was studying at the Dramatic Arts Institute, and their relationship blossomed, leading to their marriage in 2004. They welcomed their daughter Salma, followed by their son Selim two years later.
It is worth noting that significant disputes have arisen between the couple over the past year, prompting Salama to leave the marital home before deciding to officially separate.
This separation marks the end of a long journey of love and marriage spanning more than two decades, with both parents prioritizing their children's psychological and educational stability.
