Russia to Supply 21 Million Weapons and 310,000 Military Vehicles by 2026

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belaoussov announced on Wednesday that the Russian armed forces will receive over 310,000 military vehicles and approximately 21 million weapons by 2026. This initiative is part of an expanded rearmament plan aimed at enhancing military capabilities during the ongoing conflict with Ukraine.
Belaoussov noted during a meeting to review the new year's armament plans that in January alone, over 10,000 military vehicles and around 2 million units of ammunition, including bombs and missiles, were delivered. This marks a significant acceleration in Russia's efforts to bolster its military equipment.
The minister confirmed that work is ongoing to finalize contracts with national defense industry institutions to ensure consistent deliveries through 2027. He emphasized the mandate given to the ministry and relevant parties to maintain regular production and supply of the necessary weapons and military equipment.
This announcement comes as the Russia-Ukraine war continues, now entering its fourth year, while U.S. efforts to mediate between Kyiv and Moscow have yet to yield a resolution to the conflict.
