Rami Ayach Reflects on His Challenging Interview with Sherine Abdel Wahab

In a candid statement, Lebanese artist Rami Ayach shared his thoughts on his 2017 interview with fellow artist Sherine Abdel Wahab during his popular show, Chérie Studio. He labeled the interview as "the worst" he has ever conducted, expressing a strong wish to have it removed from public view.
During an exclusive appearance on Al-Masar, a program aired on the Lebanese channel LBC, Ayach recounted the details of the episode, explaining that the interview deteriorated due to Sherine's unfamiliarity with the filming process. He noted her unpredictable behavior during the recording, which included frequent absences and sudden laughter, negatively affecting the interview's quality.
Ayach mentioned that he participated in the episode out of friendship with the director and left shortly after filming concluded. He expressed hopes for Sherine to recover from her challenges and return to her audience, while voicing regret over the episode's airing.
Furthermore, he revealed that he had attempted to reach out to Sherine following the passing of Georges Wassouf to collaborate on a consolation song, which she agreed to, but the project ultimately did not come to fruition.
During the interview, Rami Ayach emphasized that singing ability alone should not qualify an artist for a television show, highlighting the significance of professionalism and artistic preparation in conducting interviews.
