Miss Égypte 2025 Faces Legal Action for Unauthorized Acting

Miss Égypte 2025, Irina Yousri, has ignited a significant controversy in the artistic community after the Egyptian Syndicate of Performing Professions announced legal action against her for participating in a theatrical production without the required official authorization.
The syndicate confirmed in an official statement today its firm stance against any involvement in artistic works without prior approval, in accordance with the laws and regulations governing the acting profession. It highlighted that the production company of the series "Tous aiment Mody" violated these regulations by hiring Irina Yousri for her acting debut without securing the necessary permit.
The statement emphasized that the syndicate has instructed its legal advisor to pursue necessary legal measures against Irina Yousri for practicing acting in violation of the law, as well as to take action against the production companies that collaborated with her. This is part of their efforts to protect the rights of syndicate members and uphold the rule of law in the artistic sector.
The Syndicate of Performing Professions also affirmed its commitment to enforcing deterrent measures against any similar violations in the future, stressing that it will not tolerate any breaches of the laws governing the profession or actions that could harm those working within it.
* Ongoing Controversy on Social Media
The controversy surrounding Irina Yousri extends beyond the legal crisis, as it has sparked significant discussion on social media. This follows her comment on a post by artist Mostafa Abou Sari, who announced his separation from his wife, where she wrote: "Congratulations Toti."
This was interpreted by some as implying a relationship between them that may have contributed to the divorce, prompting her to later modify her comment to: "May God bless you with Adam and Noah."
* Acting Debut
Irina Yousri, crowned Miss Égypte 2025, is making her acting debut in the series "Tous aiment Mody," featuring star Yasser Jalal. The series is set to air during the Egyptian Ramadan series season in 2026, marking her first dramatic appearance.
