Legal Seizure of Assets from Artist Hassan Shakosh Following Court Ruling in Favor of Ex-Wife

Attorney Yasser Qantouch has confirmed the commencement of legal actions to seize the accounts and assets of artist Hassan Shakosh. This action is being taken on behalf of his client, Rim Tarek, Shakosh's ex-wife, to enforce a court ruling regarding alimony payments.
Qantouch stated in a press release: "Rim Tarek has received the enforcement order from the final judgment that mandates Hassan Shakosh to pay a specified amount as alimony for enjoyment and delay." He clarified that the seizure will target funds in banks as well as movable and immovable property.
The attorney confirmed that these actions are being executed in accordance with a family court ruling that "has become final and is not subject to appeal, obligating Shakosh to make the payment."
This ruling dates back to April, when the family court in Sixth of October issued a final judgment in case number 4353 of 2024, requiring Shakosh to pay 950,000 Egyptian pounds to his ex-wife as alimony for enjoyment and delay.
The couple's marriage gained attention in March 2024 due to an unusual incident where bride Rim Tarek prostrated while wearing her wedding dress. However, the marriage lasted less than two months before disputes escalated into a legal and media battle.
The final judgment and subsequent seizure proceedings mark the latest chapter in a case that has attracted considerable media coverage.
