Horrific Crime in Cairo: Body Parts of Woman Found After Attempted Assault

Confession of the Suspect
Authorities apprehended the suspect who, during questioning on Monday, stated that he attempted to assault the victim. He claimed that when she screamed, he fatally stabbed her in the neck.
Dismemberment and Evidence Concealment
The suspect further revealed that he had dismembered the body into five parts and discarded the remains in different areas to hide the evidence of the crime:
The victim's head was reportedly placed on the subway tracks at Helmiya El-Zeitoun station, with the intention of destroying it to complicate identification.
Other body parts were disposed of on Abdel Hamid Othman Street, in the extension of Manchêt El-Tahrir, and in an empty lot on Ain Shams Street.
Witnesses and Suspect's Movements
Several residents in the Manchêt El-Tahrir area reported seeing an individual discarding a bag in the street after dawn prayers, before fleeing on a motorcycle, which aided authorities in his subsequent arrest.
Legal Proceedings
The dismembered remains have been transferred to the Zeinhom morgue under the supervision of the public prosecutor, while investigators have decided to detain the suspect for four days as part of ongoing legal procedures.
