Popular Egyptian Singer Ismail El-Laythi Dies Following Accident in Minya

Ismail El-Laythi, a prominent Egyptian singer, passed away today at the age of 37 due to injuries sustained in a tragic accident in Malawy, located in the Minya Governorate.
The artist was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, reportedly arriving in a coma. Medical examinations revealed a skull fracture and bleeding beneath the brain membrane, necessitating immediate resuscitation efforts.
After just two hours, his condition worsened, leading to his transfer to intensive care and placement on a ventilator due to respiratory failure. Medical staff attempted to manage the situation, using medication to control the cerebral bleeding, though it did not stop completely.
A medical source indicated that an urgent surgical intervention was necessary to address the cerebral hemorrhage. However, his critical state posed significant risks, particularly due to the ventilator's complications during anesthesia. As a result, doctors opted for pharmacological treatment in a desperate attempt to save his life.
The physician noted that while El-Laythi had "other scattered injuries" throughout his body, these were not life-threatening compared to the severe head injury he sustained.
It is worth mentioning that Ismail El-Laythi faced personal hardships last year, having lost his son in a tragic accident when the child fell from their tenth-floor balcony, which deeply affected him and his family.
His personal life also experienced turmoil, including a separation from his wife that lasted several months before they reconciled and resumed their marriage recently.
Reports indicate that his body will be transferred to Cairo in the coming hours for burial and funeral services in his hometown.
