Controversial Dinner with Lamine Yamal's Mother Sparks Debate in London

Reports from the UK indicate that an event management company in London organized a private birthday dinner featuring Sheila Ibana, the mother of Barcelona footballer Lamine Yamal, who was introduced as the "guest of honor" for the evening.
The dinner took place at a hotel in the British capital, where attendees had the chance to meet Sheila and take photos with her. According to the "Daily Mail," the VIP package was priced at £313 (around €350) and included premium seating, unlimited drinks, and photo opportunities with Sheila.
Sheila, who hails from Equatorial Guinea, typically prefers to stay out of the limelight, unlike her husband, Munir Nasraoui, who has gained visibility since their son's rise to fame. Sheila has over 360,000 followers on Instagram.
Interestingly, during the event, Sheila refrained from discussing details about her son's career, sidestepping multiple inquiries regarding Yamal, who recently ranked second in the Ballon d'Or standings. This has raised questions about her participation in a paid event, especially given that her son reportedly earns around £270,000 per week with Barcelona.
The event has sparked significant debate in European sports media regarding the commercial exploitation of family fame and the boundaries between the public personas of athletes and their private family lives.
