King Charles III Celebrates 77th Birthday by Driving Tram in Wales

King Charles III celebrated his 77th birthday in a distinctive manner, appearing in a video while operating a modern tram at a metro station in South Wales. This event was part of an official tour aimed at highlighting public transport development projects in the region.
At the same time, artillery in London fired a traditional salute in honor of the king's birthday.
The king was seen smiling in the driver's cabin, braving the rain that accompanied his engagements with Queen Camilla in Wales. They participated in the 200th anniversary celebration of Caernarfon Castle before inaugurating a new train station, a day filled with official commitments typical of his recent schedule.
According to the "Daily Express," King Charles—who announced a cancer diagnosis in February 2024—has undertaken a record number of official engagements since ascending the throne in September 2022. These included hosting former U.S. President Donald Trump at Windsor Castle and brief visits abroad to Canada and the Vatican, where he participated in a joint prayer with Pope Leo XIII last month.
Despite ongoing speculation regarding his health, the king has appeared in good health during public appearances, dispelling rumors of a decline in his condition. However, Buckingham Palace has yet to disclose the specific type of cancer he is battling, leaving many questions about his health status, according to royal expert Robert Jobson.
