Manchester City Holds on in Title Race After Draw with Tottenham

Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, expressed disappointment following his team's 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Sunday. The result increased the gap to league leaders Arsenal to six points, but Guardiola insisted that the chance to reclaim the top spot is still alive.
The match saw City take an early lead with goals from Ryan Cherki and Anwan Simino in the first half. However, Tottenham fought back in the second half, with Marc Guéhi scoring an own goal and Dominic Solanke netting a spectacular equalizer, leaving City with 47 points.
In comments to "Sky Sports," Guardiola stated:
"We played at a high level, but we lacked the consistency needed to secure wins that others have achieved. However, we have 14 matches left to close the gap with Arsenal."
He added: "The match was good, and after conceding the goal, we faced some challenges, but we responded well. Overall, the performance was strong, and unfortunately, we couldn't secure the win."
Despite the draw, Manchester City remains hopeful in their pursuit of the title, with Guardiola confident that the remaining 14 matches could be sufficient to turn the situation around against Arsenal.
