Egypt and Turkey Collaborate on Gaza Ceasefire Agreement Implementation

Following his meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Abdel Atti noted that discussions also covered the U.S. resolution concerning the deployment of an international force for stability. He stressed the importance of ensuring the agreement's continuity to prevent a return to military escalation.
He added that dialogue with Washington continues regarding mechanisms to deploy an international monitoring force, aimed at ensuring both parties adhere to the ceasefire. Abdel Atti assured that Egypt and Turkey will exert necessary diplomatic pressure to ensure full implementation of the agreement and to avert any security setbacks in the region.
Abdel Atti's visit to Ankara is part of the Egyptian-Turkish Joint Planning Group meeting, which aims to coordinate regional efforts concerning Gaza and enhance cooperation on reconstruction and stabilization issues.
