U.S. Envoy Reports Positive Developments in Ukraine-Russia Talks on Prisoner Exchange

U.S. envoy Witkoff stated on Thursday that recent discussions surrounding Ukraine were productive, emphasizing the focus on establishing conditions conducive to lasting peace.

According to Reuters, Witkoff confirmed that Russia and Ukraine have reached an agreement to exchange 157 prisoners of war from both sides, which he described as a constructive step towards building mutual trust.

Witkoff further noted that the parties involved have agreed to continue trilateral discussions on Ukraine in the upcoming weeks as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to mitigate the conflict.
