Trump Advocates for Peace Between Kurds and Syrian Government Amid Ongoing Violence

U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his commitment to achieving peace between the Kurdish forces and the Syrian government during a speech on Saturday. He underscored the urgency of finding a resolution to the ongoing crisis in Syria.

Speaking at a meeting with oil executives at the White House, Trump remarked, "I believe Syria is on the path to success. The crisis has just begun, and we want to see its end."

He further stated, "We maintain strong relationships with both the Kurds and the Syrian government. Our goal is to see Syria thrive, and while I believe some progress has been made, we are witnessing a resurgence of violence that we want to see halted."

Trump's comments come in light of recent clashes in Aleppo province, where Syrian government forces and the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have engaged in conflict, raising international concerns and prompting renewed calls for de-escalation and political dialogue.
