Job security and salary enhancements for workers
During their visit, the government delegation assured that all employees at the Rmeilan facilities would retain their positions, with plans to enhance their salaries and living conditions. They emphasized that oil resources are a national asset for all Syrians.
A comprehensive agreement for regional stability
In late January 2026, the Syrian government announced a comprehensive agreement with the SDF, which includes an immediate ceasefire and a gradual integration of military and administrative structures. This initiative aims to unify Syrian territories and restore control over key crossings and strategic resources, particularly oil and gas fields.
