Massad Boulos, senior advisor to President Donald Trump on Arab and African affairs, announced on Tuesday that the U.S. government is committing an additional $200 million to bolster humanitarian aid in Sudan, in light of the worsening crisis and the increasing urgent needs of the civilian population.
In this context, Boulos noted that discussions the U.S. government is having with various Libyan factions have been productive and are moving in a direction that supports national unity, aligning with Trump’s peace agenda for the region.
