During the discussions, both leaders highlighted their commitment to efforts aimed at ending the conflict in the Gaza Strip. They called for the return of the Palestinian Authority to govern the area, while also expressing support for state institutions in Lebanon, Syria, and Libya, stressing the importance of maintaining their sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The presidents also acknowledged the significance of the Nile River for Egypt and discussed enhancing Egyptian-Turkish cooperation in the areas of water management and climate change to promote mutual interests and regional stability.
