Rami Ayash Reflects on Challenging Interview with Sherine Abdel Wahab

Lebanese artist Rami Ayash has described his 2017 interview with colleague Sherine Abdel Wahab on the show "Shery Studio" as one of the most challenging experiences of his career, stating he wishes it could be erased.
In an exclusive interview on the Lebanese channel LBC during the show "Al-Masar", Ayash shared details about the episode, noting that the interview suffered due to Abdel Wahab's unfamiliarity with the filming requirements. He characterized her behavior during the recording as erratic, with frequent disappearances and sudden laughter, which negatively impacted the interview's quality.
Ayash mentioned that he participated in the episode primarily out of friendship with the director and left the set promptly after filming concluded. He expressed his hopes for Sherine to return to her audience soon and recover from her current challenges, while also lamenting the airing of that particular episode.
Additionally, he revealed an attempt to collaborate with Abdel Wahab on a consolation song following the passing of Georges Wassouf. Although they agreed to work together, the song was ultimately not completed.
During the discussion, Ayash emphasized that singing ability alone should not qualify an artist for a television show, implicitly highlighting the importance of professionalism and artistic preparation during interviews.
