Manchester City Continues Pursuit After Draw Against Tottenham

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, expressed disappointment following his team's 2-2 draw against Tottenham on Sunday, which increased the gap to league leaders Arsenal to six points. However, he emphasized that there is still an opportunity to reclaim the lead.
The match saw City take an early lead with two goals from Ryan Cherki and Anwan Simino in the first half. Tottenham responded in the second half, with Marc Guéhi scoring an own goal and Dominic Solanke adding a superb strike, preventing City from securing the win and leaving their points total at 47.
In comments to "Sky Sports," Guardiola stated:
"We are playing at a high level, but we have not had the consistency needed to win the games that others are winning. However, we have 14 matches left to close the gap to Arsenal."
He added: "The game was good, and after the goal we conceded, we faced some difficulties, but we came back. Overall, the performance was very good, and unfortunately, we could not secure the victory."
With this draw, Manchester City maintains its hopes in the title race, and Guardiola remains optimistic that the 14 remaining matches could be enough to overtake Arsenal.
