Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has denied claims that the country has undeclared uranium enrichment facilities, emphasizing that "all Iranian nuclear sites are under the protection and oversight of the International Atomic Energy Agency."
His remarks were made during an international forum in Tehran titled "International Law Under Fire," where he stated that Iran is not currently enriching uranium and noted that some sites were damaged during the recent 12-day conflict with Israel.
In this context, Araghchi criticized the current U.S. approach towards Iran, claiming it shows no willingness for "equal and fair negotiations," following U.S. President Donald Trump's indication last week that discussions regarding sanctions imposed on Tehran could be possible.
Araghchi added that Iran is not prepared to negotiate under coercion or pressure, stressing that any dialogue must be based on mutual respect and recognition of Iran's sovereign rights to develop its peaceful nuclear program.
