Axios reported on Tuesday, referencing two knowledgeable sources, that Iran has requested modifications to the venue and format of the upcoming negotiations with the United States, originally set for Friday. This request underscores Tehran's intention to reshape the context of the discussions.

According to the sources, the Iranian delegation has communicated to mediators their preference to relocate the talks from Istanbul to Oman. They have also indicated that only American participants should be present, without additional parties, to recalibrate the negotiation process and terms.
