Chinese Robot Completes 106-Kilometer Journey and Interacts with Passersby

The Chinese robot "Agibot A2" has reached a notable technical milestone by completing an uninterrupted journey of 106 kilometers between the cities of Suzhou and Shanghai without human intervention, thanks to its advanced navigation and autonomous driving system.

Footage shows the robot navigating smoothly along sidewalks at various times of the day, skillfully avoiding pedestrians and obstacles while moving its arms in human-like gestures. Its digital facial expressions, resembling a smile, attracted the attention of passersby, many of whom stopped to engage with it and take group selfies.

This achievement is viewed as a crucial step towards developing robots capable of autonomously navigating crowded urban environments, reflecting China's rapid advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence.
