Netanyahu Visits Washington to Discuss Iran Nuclear Negotiations

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to arrive in Washington today, Tuesday, in what analysts are calling a critical opportunity to shape U.S. President DonaldTrump's approach to Iran before a possible agreement is reached.
During his visit, Netanyahu aims to persuade Trump to expand the ongoing nuclear negotiations with Tehran, as both parties prepare to resume discussions following increased U.S. military deployments in the area.
Israel has consistently demanded an end to all uranium enrichment in Iran, a reduction in its ballistic missile capabilities, and a severing of ties with militant groups throughout the region.
However, Tehran has firmly rejected these requests, insisting it will only accept limited restrictions on its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of sanctions.
According to Israeli political and security assessments reported by "Channel 13," Netanyahu is looking to capitalize on the current situation before any potential agreement, particularly in light of recent widespread protests in Iran and significant U.S. military movements that could sway Iranian leaders' negotiating positions.
Netanyahu's stay in Washington will extend until tomorrow, Wednesday, during which he will continue to advocate for more stringent U.S. measures against Iran, reminiscent of last year's coordinated strikes on Iranian military and nuclear sites.
The agenda is expected to include discussions on potential further military actions against Iran in the near future.
Negotiations between Iran and the U.S. resumed last week amid escalating military tensions, raising questions about Trump's readiness to broaden the already complex discussions with Tehran.
