FBI Responds to Claims of Evidence Concealment in Trump Assassination Attempt

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has refuted claims made by journalist Tucker Carlson that it concealed evidence related to the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. The FBI confirmed that the assailant, identified as Thomas Crooks, acted alone and had no accomplices.

FBI Director Kash Patel stated that the investigation involved over 480 personnel and included a thorough review of thousands of digital files and interviews with more than a thousand individuals. The inquiry concluded that there was no evidence suggesting the involvement of others in the incident, which occurred in July 2024 in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Carlson alleged that he had seen Crooks’ past comments on YouTube indicating the possibility of supporters, suggesting that Crooks was not a "lone wolf." The FBI countered this assertion, stating that all digital communications were scrutinized and that no accomplices or prior conspiracies were identified, reinforcing the integrity and thoroughness of their investigation.
