U.S. Military Releases Leaked Videos of Unidentified Objects in Middle East Skies

American journalists George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell have disclosed two leaked videos showing the U.S. military's encounters with unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the Middle East, which the U.S. Department of Defense refers to as "unidentified anomalous phenomena" (UAPs).
The footage, captured by "Reaper" drones over a span of 13 years, depicts unusual objects traveling at extraordinary speeds and executing abrupt directional changes, all while lacking any thermal signatures or radiation typically associated with conventional propulsion systems.
One video features three lights or "orbs" flying in a triangular formation over the Arabian Gulf on August 23, 2012. Another report, released on February 3, 2026, details a spherical object detected along the Syrian-Jordanian border in 2021.
Significantly, the drones achieved a "weapon targeting lock" on the latter object, yet it evaded the lock and vanished when the footage was analyzed in slow motion.
These leaks emerge amid ongoing advocacy from groups urging the U.S. government to disclose all military footage related to potential encounters with what are believed to be "non-human" vehicles.
During a hearing on unusual phenomena on September 9, 2025, Republican Congressman Eric Burleson from Missouri presented footage of a "Reaper" drone striking a spherical object with a 100-pound "Hellfire" missile, which reportedly had no discernible effect on the object, allowing it to continue its flight.
The ongoing leaks have intensified discussions regarding whether these objects represent advanced secret technologies or if they are entirely unexplained phenomena, leaving the skies over the Middle East shrouded in mystery.
