Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple sites in southern and northern Lebanon on Thursday afternoon, as reported by local news outlet Lebanon 24.
Sources indicated that most of the strikes were concentrated in the Mahmoudieh area of the Jezzine district in southern Lebanon, where military facilities linked to Hezbollah are located, according to Russian news agency Tass.
The bombardment also affected training bases and weapon depots belonging to the group in the Hermel region of northern Lebanon, with no immediate reports of casualties.
In this context, the Lebanese Interior Ministry reported that the death toll from Israeli attacks has risen to 29 since the beginning of the year, reflecting an escalation of violence in various parts of the country.
