Samsung Introduces Galaxy S26 Ultra with Innovative Privacy Feature

Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which includes a cutting-edge feature designed to enhance the user experience by providing additional privacy for on-screen content through artificial intelligence support.
According to leaks regarding the One UI 8.5 interface, this new feature will be known as “Privacy Display”, which reduces screen visibility when viewed from an angle, making it difficult for those nearby to see the content on the device. This functionality causes the screen to appear darker when activated, as reported by SamMobile, a technology news outlet.
The feature can be easily enabled through the settings app or via a dedicated button in the quick settings panel, allowing users to customize automatic activation conditions.
It may also integrate with various modes and routines to automate its activation, such as turning on automatically when outside the home or office.
This feature appears to rely on a next-generation OLED display and could utilize Samsung's Flex Magic Pixel technology, which was first introduced at the 2024 Mobile World Congress.
However, it remains unclear whether this feature will be available across all models in the Galaxy S26 series or exclusively on the Ultra variant.
Currently, no other smartphone globally offers a similar feature, positioning the Galaxy S26 Ultra as a leader in smartphone screen privacy.
