Samsung Introduces One UI 8.5 with Enhanced Customization for Quick Settings

Samsung has released the beta version of its latest user interface, One UI 8.5, on December 8, introducing a wide array of new features, some of which bear similarities to Apple's iPhone interface.
The standout feature of One UI 8.5 is the enhanced customization of quick settings.
While all Android phones offer some level of customization for these settings, Samsung has provided unprecedented control in One UI 8.5, according to a report from Android Authority.
In previous versions, users could only add or remove buttons from the dropdown menu, such as the media player, smart home controls, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Smart View buttons, without the option to remove them entirely. In One UI 8.5, Samsung has removed all restrictions:
_ Users can eliminate any unwanted buttons, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and media player.
_ Volume and brightness control bars can also be removed if desired.
_ New buttons can be added and organized almost freely, according to personal preferences.
This significant level of freedom makes Samsung's new interface the most powerful among Android phones in terms of customization control, setting a new standard for other smartphone manufacturers to follow.
It is noteworthy that Samsung continues to assert its strong influence on the Android system, despite Google being the primary controller, making One UI 8.5 a significant step towards a more personalized and flexible user experience.
