Netanyahu: Trump Demands Complete Disarmament of Hamas Without Concessions

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, following a visit to Washington, announced that U.S. President Donald Trump has set an "essential and unequivocal" condition for the complete disarmament of Hamas, emphasizing that the United States will not make any concessions on this matter.

Netanyahu stated, "The primary condition is that Hamas disarms," adding that this requirement is part of a broader 20-point American plan. He noted that discussions with Trump reflected a strong mutual understanding and solidarity, and included talks about regional developments, particularly the ongoing conflict in Gaza, which has persisted since October 2023.

Netanyahu also remarked that the disarmament of Hamas is a challenging yet achievable goal, expressing confidence that a multinational force will ultimately be able to enforce this condition.
