Riyad Mahrez Leads AFCON Scoring Race, Overtakes Mohamed Salah

Playing for Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia, Mahrez scored the opening goal for the "Desert Warriors" in the 23rd minute from the penalty spot, marking his decisive contribution for the second consecutive match in the tournament.
With this goal, the Algerian captain has now scored three times in this edition of the competition, placing him at the top of the scoring leaderboard ahead of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah and several other prominent players from the continent.
